Prof. Akinde
A. D. - Chairman
The Chairman of the Board who holds a B.Sc. (Hons.)
degree in Electronics, M.Sc. Communication and PhD
Computer Science degrees, is a Fellow of the Nigerian
Computer Society (FNCS), an Electronics/Communication
engineer by training and a practicing computer engineer.
He has over thirty-three years professional experience
in Research, Teaching and Consultancy in the areas of
Digital Systems, Computer and Industrial Automation with
respect to design, installation and maintenance of
large-scale computing systems. He consults widely for
Government, the Private Sector, as well as International
agencies. |

Engr. Akin
Sawyerr - Director
Engr. Akin Sawyerr has over 30 years working experience
in Information Technology, Electronic Engineering and
Resource Management. He is currently a Director with the
Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission.
He was at various times a consultant to the Nigerian
University System on Management Information System
(MIS); Deputy Director, Data Management at the National
University Commission; Member, Governing Council of the
National Mathematical Center. He is a Fellow of the
Computer Society of Nigeria; Member, Nigerian Society of
Engineers; COREN registered Engineer; registered member
of Computer Professional (Registration Council) of
Nigeria – CPN and a member of the Internet Society. |

Engr. Demola
Aladekomo - Director
Demola is the founder and Managing Director of CHAMS
Plc., a leading IT company with special focus
on card technologies. He started CHAMS some twenty years
ago, as the first indigenous computer maintenance
outfit. Over the years, the company has pioneered many
new technologies and provided intelligent solutions to a
wide range of public and private sector initiatives.
Some of his achievements in the field of IT practice
include:
first wide–area-network on PCs in Nigeria
first company to venture into card technologies in
Nigeria
Demola is the brain behind the success of the Valucard
project.
He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Computer Society (FNCS),
a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and
a Fellow of Computer Professional Registration Council (CPN)
He was part of the first Chief Executives Programme at
Lagos Business School.
He is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Volunteer
Corps as well as the Vice-Chairman of the Board of
Trustees of Smartcard Society of Nigeria. |

Professor Oye Ibidapo Obe - Director
Professor 0. Ibidapo-Obe was awarded a Bachelor of
Science [B.Sc. (Hons)] degree in Mathematics in the lst
Class Division by the University of Lagos, Nigeria in
1971. He served
the University of Lagos from October 1, 1972 as a
Graduate Assistant through 1976 as Lecturer Grade II
till 1983 as Professor. He was subsequently the Deputy
Vice-Chancellor in April 2000 and acted as
Vice-Chancellor between September 2000 and April 2002. He was appointed substantive Vice-Chancellor on 1st May, 2002 and successfully served
until 30th
April 2007.He was the Chairman
of the Committee of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian
Universities. He was 2-times awarded the Best Vice
Chancellor’s Prize (2004,2005) for the Nigerian
University System(NUS).
Professor Ibidapo-Obe currently serves on the Council
of Osun State University, Chairman of the
Monitoring Committee of National Open University of
Nigeria.
He was conferred with the national honour as Officer
of the Federal Republic (OFR) by the Federal
Republic of Nigeria . |

Mr. Femi
Williams - Managing Director/CEO
Femi holds a B.Sc. Electronics and Electrical
Engineering degree and an MBA in Information Technology.
He joined Chams Plc. in 1990 as a Computer
Engineer, and by dint of hard work, resourcefulness and
dedication, he rose to the position of General Manager
in January 2001.
He held this position until he joined Supercard Limited as
Managing Director in March 2004. An engineer to the
core, Femi has designed and implemented numerous systems
connectivity projects; LANS, WANS, mini - mainframe
linkages, structured cabling systems, etc. He was the
Chief Operating Officer of Chams for many years leading
the sales, marketing and technical teams. He was
actively involved in strategic policy formulation and
implementation as well as mentoring for the entire
company. He is a member of the Nigerian Computer Society
(NCS), Nigerian Society of Engineers and Computer
Professional (Registration Council) of Nigeria (CPN) and
enjoys playing the game of Squash.
