On the 5th of May 2007,
Supercard Limited celebrated exactly Five (5) years of excellent
service to humanity as a pioneer and major player in the
identification and payment industry in Nigeria.
The Board of Directors, Management and staff were very happy to roll
out the drums to celebrate exceptional achievement of Supercard
within the first five years of operations.
In the words of Prof A. D Akinde, “I feel highly honoured to be here
today and to share in the joy of many successes recorded by
Supercard. These would not have been possible without the commitment
and loyalty of the Management and staff. I wish the company many
more years of fruitful service to God and our country”.
All the members of the Board were present at the celebration with
our customers, and staff of Supercard.
The Managing Director, Mr Femi Wiliams said “ I am very happy to be
the pilot of the affairs of the company at this point in our
history, I am particularly grateful to Mr. Demola Aladekomo (our
founder) and Prof. Wale Omole, my predecessor and the first
Consultant/Managing Director for their vision to setup Supercard and
the good foundation on which they built the company. I am also
grateful for all the employees for making it happen here”
As part of the celebration, Mr. Matthew Ogunbukola was elevated to
the position of Assistant General Manager (SmartID) project.

and payment systems in Nigeria with products and services dominating
