The University of Lagos has recently deployed an e-Learning Management System.

With study centres located in three strategic locations, VLE Room, Faculty of Education both on the main University campus, and at the College of Medicine, Idi-Araba, Lagos. Students and faculty can avail themselves of collaboration, assignments, assessments and course management and delivery. Digital contents and resources are being shared and optimally deployed over the Web.

The Implementation of the project was co-ordinated by Prof. Charles Uwadia of the CITS, while Prof. Olaide Abass is the Chairman of the Implementation project.

A number of courses have been created and materials uploaded for them. Over 4000 users heve been enrolled in the Institution's Learning System.
